Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) Chairman Professor Shibli Rubaiyat-ul-Islam said that investment in Bangladesh is now very easy and return on investment is also available. He said the current government is investment-friendly. The government is committed to provide security for investment in Bangladesh .
He was speaking at a seminar titled ‘Scope of Private Equity and Venture Capital Investment in Bangladesh’ organized by UCB Stock Brokerage in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on Thursday.
Brian Stairwalt, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Financial Services Authority was present as the Chief Guest at the event. Shakib Al Hasan, Goodwill Ambassador for Investment Education in Bangladesh Capital Market and World Cricket Star also spoke there.
Speaking on the occasion, the BSEC chairman said Bangladesh has many positive aspects including adequate foreign exchange reserves, a significant youth population, political stability and strong financial position. Through all this, Bangladesh is moving forward. In the last few years, many startup companies have sprung up in Bangladesh. Which has now become a multi-million dollar company. He called upon all to invest in Bangladesh in this situation.
Cricket star Shakib Al Hasan said Bangladesh’s capital market is moving forward. Will go further in the future. He called on the people of Dubai to invest in Bangladesh to continue this process.
